Features
|
The laminated glass produced with this adhesive complies with national standard (GB9962-99) "laminated glass". Through technical integration from many experts and the experience of our company in these years, now we have realized three-dimensional even distribution of adhesive in materials in various fields in our company. Therefore, it is possible to make isotropic improvements of physical properties of materials. At the same time, a variety of unique features are endowed materials, such as antimicrobial, antistatic, wear-resistant, vibration-resistant, anti-skidding, noise reduction, wave absorption, anti-aging and impact-resistant, as well as damp proof, catalytic properties, semiconductor, piezoelectric. The strength of Monomer reaches or approaches to theoretical values of chemical bond. |
Comparison of laminated glass adhesive: |
Thomas laminated glass adhesive(THO900) |
general laminated glass adhesive |
Single component. Easy to use without mixing, no bubble appears |
Double components. Not easy to control the ratio, need to add curing agent.Bubbles form easily |
You.ll see long term durability and resistance to moisture, chemicals, oils, and temperature extremes. |
unstable,
|
The glue is transparent and with good flow property, making it easy to apply the adhesive |
Too sticky, which makes it difficult to apply the glue |
Light cures and reduces its costs |
Cures when heated, therefore the cost increases. |
High cementation intensity, good resistance against impact. Comply with national standard. |
Low cementation intensity. Easy to shed. |

instructions
|
1. Cleaning: Scrub glass with acetone and then dry it.
2. Edging: Edge around two pieces of glass with PVB film (3-5 mm width) infiltrated in adhesive to form cavity, and clamp with pliers. Be sure to set aside room for filling adhesive.
3. Filling glue: Fill the cavity slowly with degassed adhesive loaded in film bags, and then settle it still for 6 to 8 minutes.
4. Exhausting: Hit glass slightly and exert certain pressure, try to exhaust the air dissolved in adhesive. Gradually level glass, quickly seal and fix with a clamp.
5. Solidifying: Examine carefully and make sure there is no bubble, and level laminated glass filled with adhesive in sunlight (or ultraviolet lamps), move the clamp to solidify it with enough light after 30 minutes.
|
Notes |
1. It is necessary to adopt fresh float glass, and seal with PUB membrane or sealing strip of laminated glass made in our company.
2. Try to exhaust bubbles, in particular small bubbles near the edges of sealing strip. Add adhesive or exhaust immediately if there are air bubbles. 3. When the temperature is relatively high (higher than 30℃), it should not be exposed to sunlight for too long(less than 90 minutes) to avoid severe reaction that could rip glass. 4. The glue should be shunned from light, and deposited in well ventilated and cool places. |
