Thomas leak stoppage instant adhesive for transformer( THO152)

Application

The product is used to stop the leakage of vehicle fuel tanks, transformers.

Features

Part A is colorless and transparent viscous liquid, part B is white paste.

It cures fast, it cures and bonds well 2 hours after applying it.

Being malleable and durable, it has high strength and weather resisting property.

You can apply the product on the surface with oil or water, no demanding requirement is needed for the substrates.

It can be used under a wide range of temperature, from-40℃－+150℃.

It is non-toxic after it solidifies, so it is convenient and safe to use.

The storage time is half a year at normal temperature.

Instructions

A.      leak hunting

the crux to stop the leak is to find where the leak is.

B.      leak stoppage

1.      clean the surroundings of the leak.

2.      mix component A with B in the proportion of 10:1, spread the mixture on the collision mat and apply it on the leaking surface.

C.     reinforcement

1.      mix the A and B component of reinforcing adhesive in the proportion of 10:1-10:0.5.

2.      apply the mixture on the first layer of adhesive.

3.      the coverage of this layer should be wider than that of the first one. If the pipeline pressure of is too intense, cotton, polyester fabric or other fiber rope with reinforcing adhesive should be used to wrap the pipe.

D.     protection

to reach the perfect state of stopping leak, protective paint (anti-decaying paint, anti-rust paint)is often used on the out layer of the leaking spot.

E.      The challenging operational approach for stopping the leak

1.      clean the leaking spot using special tools.

2.      apply the adhesive using brush

3.      apply another layer of adhesive and press the surface with strength.

4.      use up the mixture and don’t leave it for next time.

F.      solutions for speeding up of bonding in cold winter

1.      the ratio of curing agent to coarse clue should be no less than 10%.

2.      increase the pre-reaction time, that is, leave the mixture alone for 10 to 20 minutes till the mixture changes color.

3.      heat the mixture when mixing them to increase the speed of solidification.

G.     Reasons for failing to stop the leak.

1.      the proportion of curing agent in the mixture is not enough. The viscosity of the mixture has close relations with the amount of curing agent in the mixture. The more curing agent, the more viscous the mixture it is.

2.      no further treatment is deployed after the applying the first layer of adhesive.

notes

1.      if the pressure inside the pipeline is too strong, extra press is needed, Better not do the work when the pressure inside the pipeline is still strong.

2.      make sure the surface of the leak spot is clean and reinforce the bonding with several layers of adhesive.

3.      if the material is glass or stainless steel, apply the coarse glue before the stopping of leak.

4.      control time. The mixture remain effective for 90 minutes at 20 ℃.

5.      the temperature has great effect on the speed of solidification.

6.      clean the skin with soap if the mixture contact skin, if serious, ask for doctors for help.

7.      cover the can, keep the mixture away from children and fire and store it in the darkness. The storage time is 12 months.
